Maithri gifts white teak samadhi statue to Modi
A samadhi statue of the Buddha (engaged in deep meditation) was gifted to India's Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi by President Maithripala Sirisena. This samadhi statue was given to India's Prime Minister who was on a one-day official visit to the island by President Maithripala Sirisena.
Two years was spent to complete work on this samadhi statue which incidentally was made of white
