Youth responsible for keeping bomb-parcel, to CID custody -- necessity to close schools; politician in background

Youth responsible for conspiracy of closing down school by placing 13 hand-bombs has by now been taken into custody by police. It is one 32 year old Hapuaarachchige Pavithra Madhushanka of Hedigalla, Badureliya who was arrested and after being interrogated, he has been forwarded to the CCD for further questioning. 

Most clearly he has placed those bombs and some wires together in order to create a scare not with the idea of an explosion as such but with the purpose of creating some fright in someone who sees it.
However his attempt has been futile because the bag of bombs on being inspected when villagers had seen a person scampering across the school garden as was noted by the watcher of the school and two fathers of school children who were providing security to the school. 

They have notified about this incident to police after which the bomb disposal unit was summoned from Pelawattha army camp and the entire school was subjected to a thorough inspection. It was revealed at that point that the parcel of bombs was something that was left there for the purpose of creating panic on the people. In any case it was not possible to conduct school on Friday and police announced over loudspeakers covering the whole area asking not to send children to school.

Police have commenced investigations to ascertain as to who has made use of the situation in inconveniencing the public in this manner. Arrested Madhushanka is someone who works on behalf of a well-known politician in the area and could have done this for such a nasty necessity.
