Copper businessman Mohammed Ibrahim Inshaf Ahamad who carried out suicide-bombing at Cinnamon Grand some days back has written properties belonging to him in favour of his children and brothers, it is reported. He has even hidden this action of his even from his wife and has set off from home on Friday saying that he was going to Zambia. 

Inshaf happened to be the son of Yoosuf, a businessman dealing in spices and there were 8 brothers
and 3 sisters in his family. He in fact has lived in both houses at Kandy and Dematagoda from time to time. Before the referred to attack, Inshaf Ahamad has written properties belonging to him in favour of his children and brothers. Further, assets of a private company in Wellampitiya worth Rs. 450 lakhs belonging to him had been to four of his children as gift deed while property of a private company in Colombo area worth Rs. 100 lakhs belonging to he and Mohommed Ibrahim Ilham Mohommed had been transferred to a brother, it is revealed by now. 

In addition, a property in Matale worth Rs. 110 lakhs and a land worth Rs. 500 lakhs was written in favour of two private companies. It is of special interest to note that all this property activities were attended to 3 weeks before the attack concerned. He has, to be specific, attended to these activities through a lawyer on March 29th and April 1st. Apart from this, mobile phones belonging to him, laptops and some other items in his possession was given to two of his employees, it was reported.
