A super brothel raided last night (23) at Rajagiriya

A super brothel which was being carried on at 861/2, Kotte Road, Ethulkotte, Rajagiriya under the pretext of a massage clinic was subjected to a raid by police last night (22) around 10.45, it is reported. The said raid was launched under a search warrant obtained from Aluthkade No. 4 Magistrate Court on a tip off received by officers of Welikada police station and it was found to be a
location which was patronised by the elite class as well as politicians for an exorbitant price. 

A female suspect managing the place and 6 other suspects who were found lodging there for the purpose of being used for prostitution were taken into custody. Police say that suspects taken under custody are of the ages of 28, 25, 28, 29, 32 and 48 and hailing from areas such as Mahawa, Parasangaswewa, Padaviya, Nawalapitiya and Weerambugedera. Suspects are expected to be produced before magistrates court today (23) while Welikada police are conducting further investigations.
