Thilan Samaraweera who leaked video?
A statement made by players of Sri Lanka Cricket team in the dressing room after making a Test win a couple of days back to the effect that they played on behalf of the coach was something that created a sensation in all media across the country. Sports Minister Harin who expressed his ideas about this has indicated that the video concerned has been videoed by a foreigner who was with the cricket team and that since he had no idea of the Sinhala Language and the video which exchanged hands with another ending up with the media finally poses a problem. "I have by now received the report of the manager of the team. Thinking of the future of the game of cricket, presently I am keeping it with me. But we should take action about that incident on the Sports Ministry level. Things like this are spoken in dressing rooms of players. I also have engaged in sports, no. It is a normal situation. Videoing this and it appearing in social media is an issue. Serious action will be taken about an incident taking place within a dressing room in a private manner being used for one's own benefit.
