becoming captain of the Australian team and authorities in that country took steps in that direction yesterday for him to realise that dream and that was to appoint him nominally as the captain of the Test between Australia and India which commenced on Boxing Day in Melbourne.
becoming captain of the Australian team and authorities in that country took steps in that direction yesterday for him to realise that dream and that was to appoint him nominally as the captain of the Test between Australia and India which commenced on Boxing Day in Melbourne.
For this reason Archie Schiller even joined in training sessions with the team and even proceeded to go in the company with Tim Payne who presently leads the Australian team to toss the coin on his behalf.
On that occasion this small boy who made it an opportunity to express his ideas from the middle of the pitch told his players yesterday to hit sixes and get wickets. "What Archie initially wanted was to bat first. But I told him that I cannot guarantee that whether it would be favourable or otherwise if the team bats first", Tim Payne said. Whatever it is, according to existing laws and regulations it will not be possible to give him an opportunity to play but this special welcome would go a long way in keeping his heart happy.
