"Lohan pushed me aside -- Namal apologised" -- Champika Ranawaka

The incident where former minister Champika Ranawaka met Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa met the latter when the commotion took place yesterday within the House in parliament and Lohan Ratwatta chasing him was captured on video and it became a special incident in this context.

Yohana Ratwatta's father, was incidentally Lohan Ratwatta and the former was anticipating marriage with Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha and and Yohana's father behaving in this manner caused
various talks to circulate within the internet. Why Champika wanted to meet Mahinda and what transpired in that instance has been explained across his facebook page in this manner:

"When a heated tension flared up in parliament today, minister Faizer Mustafa asked me whether there is any solution to this. At the same time he also mentioned that Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa wanted to speak to me. Acceding to that request, I went and met Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa and his first question was, "why are you silent in this instance?" I then replied him saying, "At this moment what is happening inside parliament is a display of physical strength no ... so we as someone who has some intelligence, keep silent". His next question was,"now what should be done about this?" I next replied him saying, "Let those who have the majority carry on with this" and what he told me in response was, "I am not ready to hand this over to Ranil ... I have been appointed in a legal way!"

Just then member of parliament, Mr. Lohan Ratwatta who came to the spot, pushed me. Subsequently Mr. Mahindananda Aluthgamage came there and I said, "saying you'll want to speak and if these uncalled for action is taken like this ... is this your democracy?" On that occasion Mr. Namal Rajapaksa apologised on the incident that took place and the story ended there.
