Chilli powder attack on Gamini, Malik and Wijitha!
As a result of the tense situation erupting in the parliamentary complex, UNP members of parliament Mr. Gamini Jayawickrema Perera and Mr. Malike Samarawickrema and also Mr. Wijitha Herath, member of parliament of the JVP were subjected to an attack of chilli powder. Also, other MPs who were closeby had suffered this attack as well.
These MPs were subjected to this attack because of an attack aimed at them from a bottle filled with
water and chilli powder. With this attack eyes of the said MPs had suffered damage, information sources say. Whatever it is, the victims' eyes being treated at the infirmary within the parliamentary complex is to be seen.
