"What I want to tell FCID is ... you fellows, I'll file action against you ... then there won't be Ranil or Anura ... you'll will be a lonely crowd

According to the verdict of court in relation to inconsistency of the Sathosa 38 million case, the three persons involved including former minister, MP Mr. Johnston Fernando were acquitted and released yesterday. MP Mr. Johnston Fernando who left court in the midst of a great welcome addressed the media on that occasion, thus:

"I thank members of parliament, my dear members of the public, the maha sangha and other members
of the clergy who co-operated on my behalf on this occasion. We offer our gratitude specially to the judiciary. Not only the FCID but I will take up this matter in courts against all officers connected to this. First of all I was jailed for 30 days ... after that I was sent to the cell for 44 days. Not only that ... the pressure imposed on on the public as well as members of my family and members of parliament ... I think those are things which we cannot forget. 

I am telling the FCID ... you all will become a lonely crowd. I want to say clearly ... that neither Ranil Wickremasingha nor Anura Kumara would put their heads when you all get caught in this misdeed".
