Risk of mosquito breeding found one in every four houses inspected during dengue control week

Because of the potential risk of dengue spreading subsequent to  Eastern monsoons dengue control operations were launched during one week all over the island beginning from last September 26th to October 2nd and on that occasion about three and a half lakhs of houses in dengue-prone zones came under inspection. According to data collected, 1 out of every 4 houses were found to carry a dengue-risk. The results secured was reported as follows by
