Dead body of Muslim youth inside house which went up in flames

A dead body has been found inside a house caught by fire in the area of Digana, Kandy where an agitated atmosphere prevailed. A young man aged 28 years by the name of Abdul Baasth was the victim and magisterial

examination over the dead body is underway.

In the meantime a team of police officers from the CID have been sent to that location to commemce investigations. At present, curfew at Digana has been imposed while a state of Emergency has been declared in the country. A video captured at the time the youth's body was found by his home-people is to be seen circulating within social media.
