Even before giving PET scanner to Apeksha Hospital ... Mohammed's son embraces death from cancer!

Collecting of the PET scanner funds dawned on Mr. Mohommed, pioneer of Kadija Foundation which organisation was at the head of launching public funds for the purpose of buying a PET scanner machine for Maharagama Apeksha Hospital and which act won the attention of the whole country throughout last year and this idea

incidentally dawned on him when his son was suffering from cancer.

However, his son Hameed Mohommed most unfortunately breathed his last this morning (12), it was reported. For quite a long period he had been suffering from cancer when Mohommed was struck with the idea of the noteable lack of a Pet scanner machine. Though Mohommed had enough funds to spend for his son, he started this fund sympathising with fathers who had sons like him and helpless in expending that money as a lack of this scan machine.

As such, he got together with Manusath Derana Organsation and other organisations and begun collecting the funds. Though the collected sum of 200 million was handed over to the government it is still in the stage of calling for tenders and in adjusting the shortcomings; but it had still not been brought to the country. Anyhow, before the dream came true, Hameed Mohommed took leave of everybody forever. Hameed's final rites are to be finalised today itself.
