Arjun Aloysius supposedly missing ... shows his face!
9.30 am -- Update
Mr. Arjun Aloysius who was supposedly missing, arrived at the commission with his lawyers around 8.30 this morning and gave a statement. As summons issued on him to appear before the commission had not being handed to him, suspicions started brewing that he had disappeared.

Additional Solicitor General, President's Counsel Mr. Yasantha Kodagoda yesterday notified that upto then
there is no information about Arjun Aloysius, owner of Perpetual Treasuries in relation to the bond scam which created an uproar. Mr. Kodagoda has also said that though officers of the commission had tried to contact him to secure a statement from him, it had been to no avail. Even after having pursued him at Aloysius's office and his house it had not been successful. As such, the commission instructed Attorney-at-Law, President's Counsel Mr. Anuja Premaratna to produce him before the commission. Mr. Arjun Aloysius has been ordered to be present before the commission next Monday (11). Investigating officers have mentioned about the suspicion as to whether he had left overseas.
