When father looks for daughter in the room in the house ... a nude boy is near daughter's bed with condom in hand!
A father who got the devil into him when he saw a youth was getting ready to get sexually involved with his underaged daughter had battered the young man and as a result he had to be admitted to hospital and the incident was reported from Weligama, Matara.
This 13 year old girl studying in grade 9 had returned home after school and her father and mother had advised her to remain indoors and had left home on a matter which they had fixed for in advance.
However since it had been possible to finish off that matter earlier than anticipated, the couple could return home than the scheduled time.
As the door was found opened the father had searched for his daughter whom he had asked to remain alone in the house. On that occasion the father had proceeded to the centre room allocated to her and when opening the door slightly what met his eyes was the daughter lying stark naked on the bed in an upright position and an unidentified boy standing in the nude near her bed, trying to wear a condom.
With this sight in front of his eyes the father rushed into the room in a rage and after having closed the door had got hold of the boy by the srub of his neck and had begun to beat the boy over and over again and with a doorpost of the bed had battered him when the boy had collapsed on the ground in the nude sustaining injuries in the process. At that moment the daughter has pleaded with the father saying "ane thaththi ... don't hit him ... it was I who invited him no". Later what she had told was that the young man had kept on a love affair with her and as there was no one in the house she had given him a phone call and had got him down to the house.
Having got to know the incident neighbours and relatives had come to the house and had got the boy admitted to hospital. The girl who was a minor was directed to hospital for a medical examination. Weligama Police are conducting investigations in connection with the incident, it is reported.
