Dummy of Ranil set on fire ... saying that detaining Wimal in remand is unjustified

A group of members of the United Opposition who gathered opposite Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla last afternoon engaged in a protest to the effect that detaining Wimal Weeravansha, leader of Jathika Nidahas Peramuna in remand custody is unjustified. On that occasion they carried a coffin of Yahapalanaya along the road and finally proceeded to set fire to a dummy depicting Ranil's face and this structure was so

set on fire on the middle of the road. Dinesh Goonawardena, Weerakumara Dissanayaika and some other parliamentarians had joined in the protest.
