It is reported that the construction work on the tallest Christmas tree erected at the Galle Face green is nearing completion.

Those who are involved in the construction work have disclosed that it would be able to be viewed by
7 pm on the Christmas eve.

The ceremony preceding the opening of the tallest Christmas tree would be under the auspices of the Minister of Ports and aviation Arjuna Ranatunga.After which the tallest Christmas tree could be viewd by the public.
