Hashan and Upul Chandana as coaches of SLC

The former Test captain Hashan Tillekeratne and renowned allrounder Upul Chandana have been selected by the authorities of the Sri Lanka Cricket as batting and fielding coaches to assist in enhancing performances.

The duo has been appointed as assistant coaches under Simon Willis  who is the manager of

development of skills in the Sri Lanka Cricket.Hashan Tillekeratne would be in batting while Upul Chandana would be for spin bowling and fielding areas.

They would be responsible for the respective areas for development of skills of the national players,development squad and under 19 squads.In is also reported that Chaminda Vaas would act in the category of fast bowling under the chief coach.
