From January 1st the price of a lottery ticket would be Rs 30/-

The price of a lottery ticket that is marketed by the national lotteries board  and the  Development lotteries institution costs only Rs 20/-

It has been decided to raise the price of all such lottery tickets to Rs 30/- from the 1st of January

2017.

This decision has been arrived at after a discussion the representatives of the National lotteries board and the development lotteries institution have had with the authorities of the finance ministry.

In this regard the question had arisen that owing to this increase the sale of lottery tickets would become lesser.Hence the advertising methods should be changed was what discussed.
