Against severe protests by LTTE President to leave to Malaysia under tight security
President Maithripala Sirisena is to leave tomorrow the 15th on a tour of Malaysia.It is reported that the Tamil non governmental organizations and other parties in Malaysia have planned to stage protests.
The visit of the President Maithripala Sirisena is two fold.One is to felicitate the 60th year of Ambassador relationship between the two countries and on the invitation of the Malaysian
government to sign several bilateral agreements between the two countries.
According to Ronnie Murugan aleader of a Tamil organization our President is accused of war crimes and hence he should not be allowed to visit Malaysia.
In the meantime a LTTE sympathizer a deputy chief minister in the Pinaz state Palaiyam Ramasamy has requested the Tamil diaspora to protest against his visit.In this context the Malaysian government has made broad security arrangements for the President's visit.
It is reported that behind the assault of the Sri Lanka Ambassador recently Ramasamy had been behind it.
It is reported that the DAD Party too had pledged to support in these protests against the visit of President Maithripala Sirisena. President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to leave to Malaysia on the 15th evening.
