Wimala, wife of Amaradeva had been furious when the presenter of “Sasara Danawwa: ceremony the last function he had attempted to bring him on stage.

The last function Pandit Amaradeva had participated before his demise was only a few days before when he had participated in the Ven,Rambukkana Siddartha thera’s felicitation “Sasara Danawwa” concert. An incident that had occurred  during the concert has been posted in the Face book page of Manorama Weerasinghe along with a video. Its contents are quoted below in brief:

 “ At  this concert there was no song that was allocated to Pandit Amaradeva.A person who likes publicity and a greedy presenter had attempted to invite Pandit Amaradeva to stage. At this stage the legal advisor and security personnel of Pandit Amaradeva his wife Wimala had got furious. *** Who is calling to stage suddenly? and protested. As a national
legal advisor and security personnel of Pandit Amaradeva his wife Wimala had got furious. *** Who is calling to stage suddenly? and protested. As a national treasure he goes to people but how come he is called to stage, who is the relevant presenter???”

However with the intervention of Professor Sunil Ariyaratne and  Professor Ven.Bellanwila Nayake thera Pandit Amaradeva was requested to sing a part of a song. After two lines of a song was song Madam Amaradeva beats him on the back to say “enough.

Really speaking Wimala Madam is right. This story is published in a electronic or print media for the first time. If this is recaptured kindly preserve the rights of the author.
