The minimum age limit to drive a three wheeler made 25 years

It is known to everyone that youngsters  take up to drive three wheeler's as a  easy occupation.But it had been revealed that a number of accidents ,for many social conflicts caused and the waste of young talent have surfaced  mostly owing to driving three wheeler's at young ages.

Taking this into consideration in future only those above 25 years would be allowed to drive three

wheedlers. This was disclosed by the President of the national society for road safety Dr Sisira Kadagoda.

In addition to the age limit a probationary period would be fixed for three wheeler drivers. Under the scheme of leasing facility to purchase three wheeler's many school leavers opt to enter  the three wheeler industry with ease.

The President of the national society for road safety Dr Sisira Kodagoda had added that records have revealed that it had beet mostly youngsters,school leavers who had been involved in many accidents and conflicts pertaining to social behaviour. This has been revealed from investigations conducted.

In this regard it has been proposed that the minimum age limit to become a three wheeler driver to be 25 years and a compulsory probationary period of two years to be introduced to ascertain their competency.
