Lady Judge sent on compulsory leave for visiting Duminda

It is reported that a female  district Judge Colombo had visited Welikada prison to see the former member of parliament Duminda Silva who is serving a life sentence after been convicted for the murder of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.

This incident had been perused and investigated  by

the officials of the judiciary services commission.Accordingly they have decided to send the Colombo district judge Ayesha Abdeen on compulsory leave.
