Sri Lanka triumphs in curtain raiser in triangular series with 8 wicket win

In the first ODI triangular series involving  the hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies and Sri Lanka was between Zimbabwe  and SrI Lanka was played today. Sri Lanka were able to clinch a 8 wicket easy victory with over 25 overs to spare.

Sri Lanka decided to filed after winning the toss.In 41.1 overs Zimbabwe were all out for a paltry 154 runs.Debutante Asela Gunaratne captured three wickets while Nuwan Kulasekera and Suranga

Lakmal captured two wickets apiece.

In reply Sri Lanka achieved the target in 24 overs for the loss of only 2 wickets.Opener Dhanajaya de Silva was unbeaten with 77 runs which contained 12 hits to the boundary.

.Dhanajaya de Silva was adjudicated as the "Man of the Match".
