The schoolboy who in the recent past had created a sensational incident of accessing President Maithripala Sirisena's official website without permission and made a threatening request saying "postpone A/L or resign" was arrested by police and was handed over to the Probation authorities.

He had yesterday (17) afternoon met Pesident Maithripala at the President's Secretariat on the

principle that everyone be forgiven. The President gifted schoolbags to the student concerned and his brothers and sisters as well as special gifts and members of the student's family posed for a photograph with the President in the process and left after enjoying a treat.
