Owner of Kohomba soap Amari Mandika as High Commissioner to UK

Amari Mandika Wijewardena has been appointed as the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.On the 15th instant she had presented her credentials to the 2nd Elizabeth Queen at the Buckingham palace.

According to the traditions she had been taken on a horse cart to the Buckingham palace .Amari

Mandika Wijewardena is the chairperson the Swedeshiya Industries manufactures of Kohomba soap and a large number of other inland products.She is person having 36 year experience in the manufacture and administration of this reputed Company.It is reported that several names for this post was nominated like Sangakkara and others but she was appointed above all of them.
