Legal action instituted against LankaENews

It is reported that the LankaENews web site  had published  fake news disgracing the judiciary and several Judges quoting 14 cases.In this regard for degrading the legal profession and the related Judges a case has been filed  a case to investigate into these allegations by an attorney at law and a former deputy Mayor of the Kotte Municipal council Madura Vithanage.

The attorney at law and former deputy Mayor had filed a case at the Supreme court.The related

documents had been handed over to the registrar on the 23rd instant with 14 complaints.

It is reported that in this connection the Minister of Justice Wijedasa Rajapaksa had lamented in parliament also.
