The government to regulate the various payments at International and Private school -- Minister Akila
It has been proposed by the government that in future all payments that are made compulsory by International schools and Private schools would be regulated and these charges would be made minimal.In this regard the government under the guidance of the authorities of the Ministry of education is to draw a plan.This was said by Minister of education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam in

In this regard as no laws had been enacted these payments could not be regulated was what the Minister had said.The new laws in this regard to International schools and Private schools are to be made and passed very shortly.What is to be made is to have some reasonable manner of fixing these charges.
It is learnt that these charges would be determined by an Independent Education Inspection Board.The manner this was explained in shown by the video below:
