Mahinda will take over the government before next New Year - Welgama
Addressing a meeting in Warakagoda area in Bulathsinhala the Member of Parliament for the Kalutara district Kumara Welgama had this to say:
"We said in Ratnapura that this government cannot go much far. From the statements made by
the President in the last few days it is certain that there are conflicts inside the government.Hence the government could not go that far.
We have no issue with the President Maithripala Sirisena. All 51 of us are with him.It is our hope that Mahinda Rajapakha should become the Prime Minister. The story that was told by Mahinda Rajapaksa that this government could be filled with heads is this story. The whole Sri Lanka likes the Mahinda Rajapaksa waive. The peoples mandate is with Mahinda Rajapaksa. Hence we are not afraid of an election. The people of the country has realized this situation. We will form a government before the next Sinhala New Year."
