Commuter stones the conductor for not dropping at his halt

It is reported at the Minuwangoda Police that a complaint had been lodged by a conductor of a bus against a commuter who had injured him by hurling a stone for the offence that he did not drop him at the correct bus halt.

The passenger in question had been arrested thereafter by the police. and produced before the

Minuwangoda Magistrate.The Minuwangoa acting Magistrate Chandrani Jayaratne  had allowed him bail on production of Rs 50000/- body surety.The passenger has been asked to appear before courts on the 19th instant.The suspect is a person from Yagodamulla area in Minuwangoda and had traveled in bus belonging to the Allawwa depot.The assault had been made when the bus was stopped at Miriswatta.
