Ranil gives a 'tokka' to doctors across the Facebook!

Doctors have been involved in a protest on behalf of getting popular schools from yesterday until today and possibly with this in mind the Prime Minister has given a reply to them across his Facebook Account.

It is as follows: "No person is entitled to special privileges just as much as another person, we have

not considered any profession as deserving special privileges than another profession. We settle professional issues, granting rights of a profession and to provide a continuous service to its maximum to the public who pay taxes in this country".

The argument of doctors who demand best schools for their children is that because of the nature of their profession they had found it cumbersome to adhere to a permanent address for the children to secure good schools and therefore to grant this privilege to them. The police under a court order have taken action to dispel about 200 doctors who were engaging in the protest by remaining at Isurupaya from yesterday. In the meantime, doctors of various areas in the island have resorted to keeping away from duties today with this issue in focus.
