Minister Akila relates how Ibbagamuwa, Nalinda's son was admitted to Royal

The Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam had told the house today the 20th instant at a time when doctors had reacted strongly in their endeavour to find popular schools for their children and revealed  how the

 son of Dr Nalinda Herath the secretary of the GMOA was admitted.

The Minister had stated that Dr Nalinda Herath is a resident of Ibbagamuwa.In order to get his son admitted to Royal College had intentionally obtained a transfer.

The other day when the doctors made a protest inside the auditorium of the Education Ministry in Isurupaya the Minister had stood firm against the protesting doctors...He had added further:

"Dr Nalinda Herath of the GMOA is a resident of Ibbagamuwa. However owing to a private matter he had come to reside in Kaduwela.He had taken advantage of his position as the secretary of the GMOA to admit his son to Royal College."
