Duminda's request to bring his food from home refused

The officials of the prison authorities have refused a request  made by Duminda Silva who is sentenced to death to have his food delivered from his home.

It has been announced by the prison authorities that for those who

have been sentenced to death there is no provision for them to have their food to be sent from home.

The former Member of Parliament Duminda Silva is presently serving a life sentence at the Welikada prison is an inmate of ward B 3.
