Up to 7th September sun is travelling right above Sri Lanka 

In the next few days the officials of the meteorological department have informed that the sun is travelling right above Sri Lanka.It is travelling toward south from tomorrow until the 07th  September.

At 12.12 pm this afternoon it is right above Pullaweli,Vedukkadu and Uravenakpaththuwa cities.

The southern regions and central regions of the country will experience heavy winds. ( KM 50 -60 per hour)

In the Western,Sabaragamuwa, Central and Wayamba provinces and in Jafna,Mannar,GalleandMatara districts light showers are expected. In other areas of the country light rains accompanied with thunder is expected after 2 pm. The public are  expected to take precautions against lightning.
