Akalanka tells how Savini cried!

Akalanka had married Savini. He had described how he met her and his future plans:

“It had been two years since I had decided to marry. At that time I had confessed that my wedding would be held in August 2016 definitely. This I had also quipped at some

television programmes.

She is Savini. She is a resident of France.She had been born in France. After the wedding she is leaving to France. She is a scientist student in France.

I first met her through a friend of mine at the Galle Face Green. On the first day she did not show any friendliness to me. I too was same. However later we became close friends. It was me who brought her the marriage proposal. She did not respond immediately. However after completing her studies only she consented to my proposal. She had taken one and a half years for that. Until then we stood like good friends. But she knew that I loved her.

Savini is a girl who is able to stand by herself and is a very simple girl. She never knew that I was a popular personality. When we were good friends even she did not know my name. She knows only a few persons in Sri Lanka.

She said she loves me only after she came to Sri Lanka after completing her studies. Then we informed the respective parents about our attachment. After she went to the society with me she realised that I was a popular character. Then she cried saying why I did not tell her. Then she even got frightened to get married to me. She thought she might lose me especially as she is very simple. We are hoping to leave to France in September.

In the future if I get good characters I will accept mostly films .I take part in cricket for two states and in addition take part in provincial cricket in Sri Lanka. I have also got an invitation for a reality programme.

I felt something unusual in her. Although my wife she is still my best friend. The decision I took I feel was correct.”
