Uni  medical students of Sri Jayewardenapura who protested against SAITM dispersed with tear gas and water cannons.

A group of Sri Jayawardenapura University students had made a protest walk  against the private medical college in Malabe towards Temple Trees .The group of Uni protesters had been stopped by the police at the Kollupitiya junction by using tear  gas and  high
tension water cannons to disperse the mob.

The medical faculty students of the Sri Jayewardenapura university had staged this protest walk and due to it it had been reported that there had been huge traffic congestion along High Level road and Delkanda areas.
