As a result of a fracas that took place with the two colleges Dharmaraja and St. Josephs held recently at Bogambara Grounds, Kandy last Saturday, two had been hospitalised after sustaining injuries. At

Later on, the expelled player had subsequently kept on entering the grounds continuously and had wanted to proceed with the fracas further and later he had contributed in making the whole scene one of 'battle' stopping the game in the middle of the ground, as reported by the spectators. Even spectators had joined in this fight and the police themselves had found it a difficult task to bring the situation under control. Because of this fight the game had come to a standstill halfway through the match and two players who sustained injuries were admitted to hospital. The video of the incident, from below
