The media spokesman of the media unit of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya party has issued a notice stating that the Leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, Member of Parliament Udaya Gammanpila who is imprisoned as a suspect in a case pertaining to a theft by forging documents of a foreigner. In the statement under reference it is said that Udaya Gammanpila is someone suffering

from gastritis and hence he needs food specially prepared for him be supplied to him  from home while in prison.
