Cabinet Minister Rauf Hakeem and Western Province Chief Minister Isuru Devapriya who toured Welampitiya area to look into the welfare of people who were faced with calamity resulting in the recent floods had to face a barrage of comments from a section of the public who had been rendered helpless. The people who

reprimanded them face to face on that occasion asked what they are coming for after having kept away all that time. Some happened to complain saying that they had bought boats by spending lakhs, but that they were not given any support as such.
