The IOC donates Rs 50 lakhs for the disaster welfare fund
The Indian Oil Company has donated a sum of Rupees fifty lakhs towards the welfare fund of those who were affected by the landslides and floods.
This sum had been handed over to the President Maithripala Sirisena by the related higher authorities of the Indian Oil Company on the 24th Instant.
It is also reported a further donation from the workers of the Indian Oil Company would be given to the welfare fund of the people affected by way of a day's wage of all the employees.
