Sri Lanka and England players wear black arm bands paying respect to flood victims

The touring Sri Lankan  touring cricket team to England  commenced the First Test on Thursday the 19th instant at the Headingly Oval in Leeds Yorkshire.

A special significance that was observed that all players both the Sri Lankan and the England players
had played wearing black arm guards to pay respect to all flood victims.

Earlier it was shown in the media that the skipper Angelow Mathews on behalf of the entire team had sympathised with the families affected by the flood catastrophe.
