Huge landslide in Aranayaka -- Update 2 (pictures)

The dead bodies of the 14 persons who had been missing after the landslide of Saamasara mountain, Aranayaka have been recovered today, submerged under the earth. On operations launched by the

armed forces and the police  this morning it was possible to recover these bodies. About 150 dwellings have been destroyed from the landslide which occured at the Saamsara mountain site in Aranayaka and approximately 800 people in 200 families have thus been displaced.
