For the intense heat a house in Jaffna catches fire

On account of the prevailing intense heat a house in the Jaffna, Mallakam Vissacththi Vidyalaya area it it reported a house had caught fire and got burnt.This has been reported by the Tellippalai police.The incident had occurred on the 2nd instant. It is reported that two motor cycles had been

parked on the rear side of the house where the fire had broke out.

No one had been injured by the fire.However some goods that were in the house had got burnt.What the neigbhours had attributed to the fire was owing to the intense temperatures the petrol in the motor bike may have got heated for the fire to break out.The people of the area had said that during the past few days there had been very high temperatures which could not be borne easily.

The police had revealed that the fire had been brought under control by the people living in the neighborhood.
