Three overhead bridges at Ganemulla,,Polgahawela and Rajagiriya with aid from Spain

The permanent secretary to the ministry of highways and higher education DC Dissanayake has conveyed that there is a proposal to construct three overhead bridges in Ganemulla, Polgahawela and

Rajagiriya with the sole intention of easing the traffic congestion that is prevailing.

The projects are to be funded by Spain and is to cost  53 Euro million.The one at Ganemulla and Polgahawela are to be constructed  above the station areas to avoid traffic congestion while the one at Rajagiriya is to be at the entrance to the Rajagiriya, Nawala road where there is a traffic congestion mainly during rush hours.
