The drug kingpin  Captain Sail Wasantha caught in Thailand to Sri Lanka

The drug kingpin Captain Sail Wasantha alias Wasantha Mendis the  mass heroin dealer who was arrested in Bangkok Thailand is to be

brought to Sri Lanka today the 26th instant under heavy security.

The heroin drug dealer  Captain Sail Wasantha had been arrested by the Thailand police assisted by the Interpol had been in the custody at Thailnad Bangkok for four days.During this period he had been questioned by the Bangkok and the Interpol authorities.

The Sri Lanka police authorities had made a request to the Thailand police to hand him over to Sri Lanka.

Captain Sail Wasantha is a resident of Moratuwa.Via his heroin business he had earned a huge amount of money and before fleeing to Thailand a number of years ago he had been forcussing his heroin business in the southern region of Sri Lanka.

While in Thailand Sail Wasantha had been continuing his business with his colleagues based in Sri Lanka.The authorities of the police in Sri Lanka had circulated red notices to the Interpol to arrest Sail Wasantha.

Upon his arrival in Sri Lanka the police narcotics bureau is due to conduct investigations.
