Arrest is eminent for keeping a elephant illegally in his premises the additional Colombo

magistrate Thilina Gamage.

A fundamental rights petition had been filed in the supreme courts by Thilina Gamage the additional Colombo magistrate against his arrest for illegally keeping in his possession a elephant.The petition had been squashed by the judges of the supreme courts.This decision had been delivered yesterday the 08th instant.

The respondents of this case are the officials of the criminal investigation department,attorney general and the Inspector general of police.

The case is been heard at the chief magistrate's courts.
