Schedule when power-cuts would be enforced

As a result of the crisis which has emerged in relation to the national electricity capacity, the government informs that power-cuts would be enforced on an intermittent basis during the forthcoming days. The Electricity Board has issued a schedule in this respect this afternoon. Accordingly, there would be a power-cut of 5 hours during

the afternoon period covering all areas or 5 1/2 hours and 2 hours during the night and in such circumstances there would be a maximum period of 7 and a half hour power-cut.

This schedule to some degree would be complex and since the power-cut in operation in some areas would apply to both in the morning as well as the afternoon, the schedule has to be examined after noting the sub-station to which they belong to. It would be easy to identify the sub-station concerned by comparing the time-period in which the power-cut was in operation yesterday (14) and today (15), in order to arrive at a better clarification.
