After returning home with younger brother Yoshitha Rajapaksa after he was allowed bail, the Member of Parliament Namal Rajapakse had posted on his Face Book page the quote appended below after arriving home:

"It was a hectic  and challenging 44 days.I thank all those who aired their voices and were with us throughout this period".
