DV. Upul granted bail for the offense of assaulting as he had surrendered  to police

The minister of fisheries of the southern provincial office DV.Upul for the offense of assaulting a person in Debarawewa area had been wanted by the police.The incident of assault had been reported on the 05th instant.

It is reported that he had surrendered to the police today and had been produced before the Tissamaaharamaya magistrate courts.The magistrate Udayangani Rajapaksa had released him on bail for a cash deposit of rupees fifty thousand.

The person who was assaulted on the 05h instant is still been treated at the hospital.
