Rail bus service initially from Kosgama to Maharagama

In order to ease the transport difficulties of the people the new rail bus service commenced from the 18th indtant. The rail bus would ply from Kosgama to Maharagama and from Maharagama  to

Kosgama and would stop at ever railway station between Maharagama and Kosgama.

The main aim of this service is to give the passengers who live beyond the high level road like Padukka,Waga ,Kosgama and Kahahena a redress .These passengers could now easily be able to come to Maharagama and Homagama hospitals.The persons who need  to come to Maharagama Pamunuwa area would be immensely benefited.

The first trip is from 10.00 am from Kosgama to Maharagama and during the day there would be four such trips from Kosgama to Maharagama and from Maharaama to Kosgama.This was revealed by the railway department.
