Raigam Tele awards in June, applications entertained

The 12th consecutive Raigam Tele awards  ceremony is to be held at the Nelum Pokuna theatre on the 03rd of June 2016.

As in the previous Raigam Tele  awards ceremonies there would be awards to distinguish Tele

awards, distinguish media awards, popular awards and salutation awards are to be presented. It is reported  that a panel of seven judges has been appointed to adjudicate who are competent in separate fields.

The head of this judge panel would be the Patrick Ranasinghe a professor of the Kelaniya University while the rest of the panel comprises of  Professor Ajantha Hapuarachchi,popular film critic and famous media personnel Gunasiri Silva, popular author Jayantha Rukmani Siriwardena,Senior lecturer of Sri Jayewardenapura university Hansamala Riteegahapola and senior administrative office DMRB Dissanayake.In the meantime in regard to Tamil medium SJ.Yogaraja  would coordinate as a special advisor.

The applications for the 2015 Tele awards ceremony are supposed to be reaching fast and the last date of receiving applications would be the 28th February it has been reported. It is learnt that those who wish to  submit creations  by proposed creators could  speak to Takshila Herath on 0771061414, Dulip Hettiarachchi on 0771061510  at the Raigam Tele secretariat office.
